Progress on TC6?

Post by *petergus »

Is it still in beta or has it got to RC (release candidate) status?

I need something new to play with... :D

petergus,
BTW: AFAIK RCs aren't public, either.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Well, they're treated as pretty stable betas. But still betas.

I know... but in many cases both beta and RC versions of programs are public. But I know that Christian probably cares of users' security. Any mistake in file manager may cause seriuos problems.
But it's still a pity it's not public... ;-)

Yes, that's why it's not public. I'm considering a public RC version, though. Btw, I have just contacted all translators over the weekend, so the beta is now feature-complete.

I don't think it should be a public release, it should be more for the ones who do have a licence and would like to test it.

wow! I really like this! If you deside to release a RC version to the public, any release date?

I'm eager to try it! :D
