unzip (unarchive) near by ftp connection

I often use .. (resp. ../path/) symbols as location to unzip from archive. If left and right panel are local drives, all operations work OK, but if any pannel has established FTP connection, so copy files to .. from opened archive in second panel causes attempt to copy files to FTP.

e.g.:

left panel:
Ctrl-N, user:pass@ftp.machine.com, OK, connected,

TAB, switch to right panel

right panel:
enter into archive.zip, select (all) file(s), F5, .., ENTER

"Transfer failed, continue?"
Is it OK?

It is not related to archives. Pay attention, when you press F5 while on target panel FTP connection, you recieve "Upload" dialog instead of "Unpack" or "Copy".
