Start TCM from a cd

Hi

how can i use tcm from a cd, wit my own laungage, an my deafult settings ??

eg. wincmd.ini and wcx_ftp.ini in the tcm dir ????

I'm tired of installing tcm on my frinds computers every time im helping them setting it up, and then uninstall tcm ones i finish

Ps.

Hi Rex,

I remember a long thread about running tc from a cd, I don't know if it's still on the board maybe you can search.

How to use tcm from a cd, with my own .ini files.

Problem with tcm is that it looks in the registry to see where it's installed :-(

I need somthing like tcm=%cdrom% tcm .ini=%cdrom%\tcm or somthing like that :_) :-)

In TC 6 there will be an internal %COMMANDER_PATH% variable.

2RexIn the help file, you can find command line parameters, that may help you. See /i=xyz.ini and /F=zyx.ini

Oki

So if i start TC wit the command line /i=/TC/wincmd.ini /f=TC/wcx_ftp.ini
It uses the ini files in the TC dir ????
