I have a web site which is uploaded via FTP in TC. Now I want to upload more files files but I get this error report: 553 Can´t open that file. Permission denied. A new window shoving: Transfer failed. Continue operation? Y/N
I can upload to some folders (I can also delete files in these folders) without any problems but it is impossible to upload to the root.
Can anyone help me please?

Could be a quota - have you tried a very small file to Serverroot?
Maybe you're not on your site root, some servers open ftp in serverroot and expect you to put your site-files into /htdocs.
Have you changed stuff via telnet?
You might try a different ftp-client (even internet explorer will do), if the problem persists you might want to contact your hoster's support...
