Error when copy/move files

sometimes when i use F5/F6 to copy/move files, it comes to a error says "Error copying files!". But when i try again, everything will be OK. what's the matter? How to solve it?

Could you please let us know on which support you tried to make the copy? (hd, cd, floppy, ....)

hd, cd, floppy, all could get the error.

If it happend also with hd it could be an hardware problem.
Did you tried the same operation with Explorer?

Which OS are you using?

impossible, every time when i try to copy/move again, no error occurs.

Are you using any kind of "realtime virus scanner"? If so, disable it to see if that's the reason. I have had some similar problems with Symantec AntiVirus (but not with TC, it was Visual Studio and Visual Assist).

Yes, I have the same problems with Norton Antivirus when saving files with Visual Studio! But I never had this problem when copying with Total Commander. But your virus scanner may behave differently...

really? i use NCE 8.1.1 now. but even when i shut down it, the problem exists.

oh, after i install version 6.0 and renew my wincmd.ini, it seems ok now, amazing!

There are (at least) two solutions for this. IIRC, MS have a patch for VC6, but I can't find it (didn't use it). Since I use Visual Assist, and they also "fixed" it... - Their upgrade was more convenient to get. :wink:
