problems with directories names

Post by *_majonez »

Hi

I don't know if it is a bug, but I want to ask about this:
Sometimes you need to creat directory written with large letters (e.g. WEB-INF), because some programs distinguish the size of letters. But in total commander you can see only "Web-inf" (first letter is large and other not) and you don't know what is the real name of this directory. But if you create directory like this: WEWEWe (last letter is a small one) everything is ok, you can see WEWEWe in total commander.
I want to ask is this a bug or I don't know something. Maby there is a way to change this.

Thnks for help.

You need to disable the option "Show old 8.3 filenames lowercase" to see names in DOS format in uppercase.
