How to delete one file inside an iso file?

Post by *lezerogan2 »

Hi. in TC I can see the content of an ISO file , sub-directories and files.
Before I am going to burn it to a CD/DVD media, I would like to delete one file (contains hack-tool).
when I try from TC to delete this file, I get the error message: function not supported!.
Is there a plugin or any tool that can delete this file?
Thanks.

If you do this on a regular base you should use a special tool for it.
I registered UltraISO which does it very well but is not free.

For a One-Shot action you may extract the files to a folder, delete the file and rebuild a ISO with ImgBurn

lezerogan2, you also can try freeware ISO editor, the win32 build of ISO Master. Please note that it was made few years ago (it was tested by its author only on Windows XP, for me it worked on 32-bit Vista too), so I recommend to make a backup of your iso file before using this tool. Its website doesn't offer the build itself anymore, so I uploaded it on temporary file hosting. Other required components (like X-Deep/32) are available for download by following links on archived version of Isomaster for win32 website.

That temporary hosting is dead, so I reuploaded it. Just isomaster is here (backup link), or together with X-server, the X-Deep/32 4.6.5 Freeware Version (unmodified distribution; can be downloaded separately also by following links from my above quote; its newer versions are shareware again) here (backup links 1, 2)
