Command cm_DirBranch ignoring links

Post by *liamZ »

Hi, I know there is a wincmd.ini setting ignorelinks that changes Total Commander behaviour to follow or not follow links in certain situations.
I use a lot the DirBranch command, but sometimes I want it to follow links and sometimes not to.
Is it possible to add a new command to force ignoring links in branch view?

Or, is there a way to do it without changing wincmd.ini?

I don't think that there is a way... So I agree that some user-command for changing runtime link processing mode would be useful.

There are another places where links may be ignored so I would prefer commands for enabling/disabling/resetting to defaults handling of links (search, size calculation etc). Your command could be written then as a sequence of commands.
