Re: Bug: CRASH_APP (TC 9.21a 64-bit) FATAL_USER_CALLBACK_EXCEPTION_AVRF

Post by *ghisler(Author) »

There is no trace of Totalcmd64.exe in your stack. Maybe a plugin or Explorer extension with its own thread? An indication that this happens in a third party thread is that Total Commander catches all exceptions in its own threads, and shows its own error message. This doesn't happen here, so the thread isn't under Total Commander's control.

Unfortunately, this error can not be fixed in any way. Currently, this is not possible.
I reported this error in various forums and no one could help because it can not be reproduced. This is always the case, no matter what application I make a error. "Defeat, the error beat me!" :(

Stefan2 - I am a normal user with administrator rights. I do not want to change to the default Asdministrator!
it is not advisable and it is high not recommended!

FATAL_USER_CALLBACK_EXCEPTION

It is not specifically related to the user account, because many users have a problem with a particular program, please check the Microsoft website or stackoverflow forum.
so suggesting a user account change is a bad idea that instead of helping you still will not solve the problem.

This is a different type of error:
FATAL_USER_CALLBACK_EXCEPTION_AVRF

There is nowhere similar type of error, even on Google you will not find the same error anywhere, mine is unique.
It might be a bug in app verifier.

@Usher - You showed a link to an outdated, not-current article from a year ago.
Are you looking for a hole all over, and what does this have to do with my problem?
I have all security features, Windows updates, anti-virus packages, UAC enabled, testing with countless antiviruses, scanners and no one knows yet. And what does it give? Nothing! Absolutely nothing! You waste time on unnecessary things, and the problem has not disappeared anyway, he is still stuck :D

In this case - only an expert can read the dump file, and here probably there are no experts who will know how to unlearn the dump file. You have to enter complicated commands in the debugging application.
Simple commands that I know are not able to precisely determine the problem with the application.

For example, would you know how to read a stack trace, or, for example, what causes a memory leak or what causes heap corruption and more... more... more?
