FTP configuration for "fixed timeout value. 10 second" ?

Hi!

I use V9.22 x64 (2019-03-14) version of TC for work. I working on PC, but develop on mainframe machine (as400). This mainframe is slow and store lot of objects...ftp some time aborted with timeout message. I read it: "TC has a fixed timeout value. This value is 10 second."

How i change timeout value in this version of TC?


This mainframe use this file name convention: LIBRARYNAME/FILENAME.MEMBERNAME Some time filename contains the "-" special character(s). This is legal on this machine.


How i change allowed characters in this version of TC?

You can set the timeout manually in the file wcx_ftp.ini, under section [General], by adding:
DataConnectTimeout=30

This would be for 30 seconds timeout. You can open the wcx_ftp.ini via menu Configuration - Change settings files directly.
