Why don't you have a look at: http://www.svs4all.com/tcmd-portabke
It is an executable that makes your Total Commander Portable without 'Portable Apps'
I use it for years now.

Read all above and you should find that there is no need for any tool or script
to have a fully portable TC installation.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3374) TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1371a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.2, Listary Pro 6.3.0.69
QAP 11.6.3.2 x64

Right now, mostly because my work computer is so locked down with filters and overactive anti-virus nonsense that I can't even get to the svs4all website without it being blocked as "Illegal / Questionable" according to the IT department who control what I can and can't see.
@petermad: Genius mate! Followed your instructions to the letter and it works perfect first time! Thanks very much. This has simplified the installation on my work computer massively and as a bonus it also runs and loads faster now too.
Cheers!
