I recently used the View function to read a docx file. When the text was displayed, I selected it with the usual ctrl-C command. But when I tried to copy the text itself to a text editor, it did not work. The text was not captured in my clipboard program (ClipAngel). Is there a proper way of capturing and copying text from a conversion performed through the Total Commander View function?
Thank you.
Stan

sgodlovitch,
Which plugin are you using to view docx files? TC cannot read docx files without a plugin.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Re: Capturing viewed text from conversion
I use the ULister plugin and there is no problem to copy text from viewing docx files.

sgodlovitch: Hint: If you view the docx in lister, the name of the plugin is shown at the window title.
