copy/move average speed in background window

Post by *Vasilich »

I use copy/move in background very often (it is default setting by me). But if i copy many small files, then the indicator of copy speed cannot be seen as it will be always overwritten with currently copying file name.
Is there any chance to dedicate the fixed place for transfer speed indicator in background transfer window, instead of sharing it with the currently transferring filename?
The best way would be probably to have same graph view as in windows explorer transfer window in Windows 8+, but this is the bigger challenge...

Any chance to get the speed indicator in a future version?

And what about using Background Transfer Manager? Press F5+F2 rather than F5+Enter.

I use it almost always, and it has the same problem. Can't you reproduce it?

The speed indicator is an average of the last couple of seconds. I don't know how long the time span is, but I remember that Ghisler mentioned it in the past. Transferring a lot of small(er) files, or even larger files as disks/devices get faster, makes it hard or even impossible to see the speed indicator. So I agree that it would be better to put the speed in a dedicated label.

i has hoped, that it will come in 10.50, but, unfortunately, it is still impossible to see transfer speed for BG transfer manager operations.
