Create subfolders
Hi,
I know if I write for e.g. folder1|folder2|folder3 TC creates all these folders, but is there a way if I want subfolders inside folders.
f.eks.
-Folder01
------ subfolder01
-Folder02
------ subfolder01
------ subfolder02
------ subfolder03
I make lots of folders everyday, this should save me some time.
Thank you

Hi MYclick,

Roman
Code: Select all
Folder01\subfolder01|Folder02\subfolder01|Folder02\subfolder02|Folder02\subfolder03
Roman
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Re: Create subfolders
Thank you, exactly how I wanted.
Do you know how to make *.bat file of it?

Re: Create subfolders
That is not really necessary. Next to the textbox where you can enter the folder(s) to create, is a little dropdown button that shows you the folders creation history.
You can also press Cursor DOWN to see the last entries
-or-
Type the first couple of letters of the folders you created previously -in this case fol - and press DOWN.
A CMD solution:
- Put NF.cmd in a folder that is in your %PATH%
- In Total Commander, go to the folder where you want to create these new folders
- Type nf in TC's command line (I don't know what it is called ..) and press ENTER
- Done
NF.cmd (NF=New Folder)
Code: Select all
for %%x in (
"Folder 01\subfolder 01"
"Folder 02\subfolder 01"
"Folder 02\subfolder 02"
"Folder 02\subfolder 03"
) do md %%x
