9.50RC2 - How to View Eject Overlay Icons?

Post by *Rob Weinstein »

Hello,

I've installed 9.50RC2 on both Windows 7 and 10 and I'm trying to understand this new feature:
Drive dropdown list, drive buttonbar: Show "eject" overlay over drive icon for removable drives
I plugged in a USB flash drive and it appears in the drive dropdown list (as drive e:) and in the drive buttonbar, but I don't see any kind of overlay icon. The displayed drive icons for my USB flash drive seems no different than version 9.22. I looked through TC help and searched the forum, but I don't see anything germane. Note that I see my overlay icons for TortoiseSVN as ususal.

Perhaps someone could answer these questions:

1. How does the "eject" overlay work? What's supposed to happen?
2. Do I have to enable it?

Thanks,

-Rob

Verify that you have DISABLED option
"Configuration - Options - Icons" [_] Show drive icons from explorer.

Would be nice to see this information on the page with new functions! (https://www.ghisler.com/mailing.htm)
