Color Controls: a way to change the blue color highlights?

Post by *2cv6 »

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious but I don't see a way to control/change the blue color highlights noted on the image.

OS is Windows 10 and for what it's worth, I don't see these color code values in the registry.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks/Regards, ..

This color is defined by the OS, more specifically the the theme used. It's the same in other programs like Explorer, common dialogs (Open, Save, Save As etc) and so on.

For the Menu you can change the color by changing this registry key:

Code: Select all

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors]
"Hilight"="0 0 128"
This setting gives dark blue for example.
