I've just migrated to a new laptop (HP Pavillion 15z - Windows 10 Home, TC 9.51 x64) and the Save Preferences will not save the button setting in the left panel. I have the Left set to cm_SrcTree and the Right to cm_srcshort. The right panel opens correctly but the left opens with cm_srclong which is also on the Button Bar, between the other two. Settings are identical to my desktop which opens correctly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Cannot Save Preferences

Re: Cannot Save Preferences
Make sure your wincmd.ini is writeable. You can find its location via menu Help - About Total Commander.
If it's under c:\windows or c:\Program files or c:\Program files (x86), you need to give yourself write rights via Alt+Enter properties, or set a different location of the ini file.
