Hi,
I discovered the option to select more files, if they are related. In my example I want to selects GIS layers stored as an ESRI Shape File, such Layers consists of 4 or more files with the same name, but different extensions.
I search : *shp>*.prj *.dbf *.shx
and it does select all four related files. Perfect
But if I want to store the search string as a predefined selection if only finds the couple *.shx and *.dbf
Is this a bug? Or a known limitation. Kind regards G
Why can't I store my related files search-string as a predefined selection

It is a limitation, because the "related files" feature only works for selection strings, not for searches, and a saved selection string is the same as a saved search.
