Strange behaviour: Automatically reverse capital letters to lowercase

Post by *intspeed »

In the latest version I want to create a new directory and I want to use 1A-03 as the name. The capital A is the changed to lowercase.
Some more tests shows me that Starting with a capital and rest lowercase is OK. Starting with capital and in the middle use a capital stays as entered.
Typing with capitals only reverts all after first one to lowercase.

Even more strange is that it is NOT showing this behaviour on another machine.
Yes, and I have tried all combinations of Caps,Caps lock as far as I know

Question:
What could be responsible for this behaviour

Kind regards,
Jan

Menu "Configuration > Options... > Display > File display
>>> "Show old 8.3 filenames lowercase (like explorer)"

Or try on the fly cm_Switch83Names in TCs command line box
cm_Switch83Names=2013;Turn 8.3 names lowercase on/off

that :?:

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
