to Ghisler
-1- From the previous messages I presume you would not mind if I added a link to the unpacked TC executable on the ClubTotal site.
But just want to be sure (maybe you would only want to distibute the file to certain people, or something....)

-2- I got the unpacked file, but because the size in the filename and EXE size did not match, I would just like to see it comfirmed that I have the right file:
File: TotalCmd.exe (not packed with aspack)
Filesize: 1,976,868 bytes
MD5: 5F2F4059D32F47EA330680C26847C3BF

@Maxwish
This is indeed the correct file. (judging by MD5)

{
sha256:
17658A92E6417833BCB3D883FC553184D268AF26F6874E2C50CD08746646A1AB totalcmd.exe

heh, had to put it or else my sha256h would have been left without a purpose... :D
}

Cheers.

Are we talking here about the unpacked form of the exe for installation or the main exe after the installation? Coz in the first case I don’t think there’s any restriction since by pressing Ctrl+PageDown over the exe of TC in the compressed form for installation you can easily view and extract its contents! Or am I missing something here?

How's it going with sha256 ? Still v1.1 ?
I tested the string and it matches. BTW: took me some time to find out I had to use -f command. It's not explained very clearly on the screen info...

First I will need confirmation from Mr. Ghisler that I am allowed to share this file, before I will make a download link for it....

We are indeed talking about an uncompressed version of the main totalcmd.exe, and not the installation file....

I'd like to see the statistics of downloading it :-) (of course if Mr. Ghisler will agree for it).
Of course I'd like to get it, too.... :-)

Well, actually it's v1.2 now, added some features and changed some internals, but the hash should be the same.

You would call it like this:
sha256h -f totalcmd.exe -o totalcmd.cfv
which would create a file [totalcmd.cfv] with the hash.

Or you could add the following to a button in TC:
cmd: [path]\sha256h.exe
param.: -l "%L" -o "%T\new.cfv"
which would create the file [new.cfv] (hash) in the target dir in TC.

I think I'll release in a day or so, but I think it won't be very popular heh;

P.S. I was thinking of adding recursive support but given that not many people are interested in this file in the first place it might take a long time if it would be done at all.

Cheers.

I couldn't find an unpacked version of TC 5.51 on your site. Did you finally receive a permission to share the file?

2ghisler

I would like too see UPX used to compress TC 6.0.

I did get permission but decided not to share it publicly for obvious reasons. Email me if you want it...
