Minor clumsy in the folder synchronization window

Post by *gskoczylas »

I want to compare two folders containing a lot of files and subfolders. I open the Synchronize Directories window and click the Compare button. After a while, the comparison ends. The Synchronize button has become active, although there is no difference between these folders.

This is not a problem, because in that case, clicking on the Synchronize button does nothing. Nevertheless, it is a little confusing.

Just disable the [=] button, then there are no files in the display after comparing and the [Synchronize] button will not be activated.

The reason why the [Synchronize] button is activated and all files show "=" when the [=] button is activated is that you could for example have been comparing two folders with apparently identical files but with different dates - if you compare these with "by content" and "ignore date" activated and all files are equal you might perhaps want all files on both sides to have the same date - then you can just press the [Synchronize] button.
