[TC9.51] search list box file selection lost after switching tab on the same side

The situation is as follows:
I searched for files in a folder windows tab and have the result fed to the list box. While working on the file I changed to another tab on the same side.
When I go back to the list box the selection for the last file I worked on is lost and moved back to the beginning of the list.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but it's annoying having to go through the list again to the last position I've worked thus far.

I cannot reproduce this in neither 32bit nor 64bit TC 9.51. If I change from a tab with a search result to another tab and change back again, the cursor is still on the same file in the search list and any selected files are still selected.

What exactly do you man by "While working on the file" ?

For me it simply resets including how to display it like tree view.

I mean I've the file selected and usually also open for example in an editor.

Cannot reproduce either.

If you are able to capture a brief video (or animated GIF, or a couple of screenshots) showing what exactly you are doing, perhaps we get a better understanding of what might cause your problem and possibly how to resolve or workaround it.

A selected file gets deselected when you open it in a editor - but the curser should still stay on the file.
