Plugins available ?

Hello,
are there / will there be any plugins other than FTP / LAN available for TC-Pocket like for TC-Win32 ?

PS: 2.5 beta 3 works fine on my Acer n311 (PocketPC/WM5)

Currently there are no other plugin authors except for myself. There is a WebDAV plugin available here:

.tfx plugins are almost the same as .wfx plugins for the Windows version of TC, it's just using Unicode instead of Ansi strings everywhere.

There is something wrong with that plugin.
I copied some hundred megabytes from my WebDAV-account onto SDCard.
After a short time a popup-message told me that my memory space is empty. I should uninstall or move some programs or data.
First i thought my sdcard is full, but it wasn't. The internal memory storage now has 0 (zero) Bytes available !!!

How can i fix that ?

Does this plugin temporarly store data into internal memory ?
Where ?

If you need a beta tester for further investigation please let me know.

After starting IE / extra / options /memory / delete files
my memory was restored.

The plugin should delete its temporary files automaticly after disconnect.

Anyway, TC-Pocket is wonderful

The plugin uses the Internet Explorer functions to transfer files. Apparently IE caches files downloaded this way in its internal cache. I will check whether this can be turned off. I'm surprised a bit that the memory can run full, because the cache normally has a limit of 5-10% of the internal memory...

Sorry, I remembered it incorrectly - the cache size can only be set in Minimo (Mozilla for Windows Mobile 5), not in Pocket Internet Explorer. I will check whether it can be changed programmatically.

I just explored the registry, and this is what I found:

Under the keys:
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\Cache\Content\

The item "CacheLimit" shows a
decimal value of 65024. I suppose that's in KB, in other words, 65 MB.

I'm not sure what would happen if that were changed, or whether PIE would automatically set it back to the default value.

Good job with ALL TCs !!

Now.... I was very glad that TC is available for WM so I installed it on my 1 week old (Santa brought it to me) Asus 696. It has WM6. I installed tc2.0 but it seems it cannot load any plugin of the 3 it comes with (I am specially interested in FTP). Another thing is that I cannot modify the menu bar (or I don't know how) and I see an icon in the last but one position (between zip and AB icons) with the CTL text which again I dont know how/when to use.

Can you pelase help?

On my PPC it is set to 29940 decimal [kB]. Any changes will be "corrected" after starting IE-Pocket.

TCP 2.0 worked fine on my PPC with WM 5.0 (including ftp).
For WM 6.0 you may need to use TCP 2.5 beta 3.

Indeed TC Pocket 2.5 Beta 3 should work, please try it!
