F.e.: UNRAR64.DLL
See if you have an entry

Code: Select all

Dump_Pdata=1
in fileinfo.ini.

If you do, set it to 0 and check if it still crashes.
I already reported it here.
BTW, would be nice if this bug gets a fix.

1 Select the file unaspack.dll64
2 Press F3
3 Select the tab "Image File Header"
No problems here either with fileinfo 2.2.2 and TC 8.52a x64 under Windows 10 (v. 1511)

Threshold, release 2 - a code name for Windows 10 version 1511. Just like the next one will be RS1 - Redstone, release 1.

Make sure you are testing with option "Show Runtime FTable" enabled. This bug is actually rather old an reliably reproducible.

I can now confirm the bug with this option enabled.

If I try to show a folder with a very big file (Tested with two files of 10GB and 15 GB) TC crashes if fileinfo is active. (64bit Win10, NTFS)

Is this a known issue?

Can't imagine how can TC crash on entering folder with any files when lister plugin is active. Or it is in a quick view window?

Most missing feature: In tab Imports/Exports copy the function names to clipboard. This would save me some redundant work to open the binary in depends (Dependency Walker) again.
TC plugins: Autodesk 3ds Max / Inventor / Revit Preview, FileInDir, ImageMetaData (JPG Comment/EXIF/IPTC/XMP), MATLAB MAT-file Viewer, Mover, SetFolderDate, Solid Edge Preview, Zip2Zero and more

Ctrl+C works fine for me here. Also imports/exports may be copied from image file header tab.

I miss background loading much more: when opening large executable, plugin may cause TC to hang for a time (especially if I've enabled extended information in options before).

Hello François,

When I download I still get the 2.2.2 version served? I've already cleared my cache, but to no avail...

Still no support for latest mangling scheme (rvalue references, etc.)

Bug: no horizontal scroll on imports tab when Lister window is maximized
