I don't visit this forum any more. If you want to say something to me, use PM or tell to Sans :)
Thanks jaco for the best addon idea for a long time.

could you please add support for RegExps?

Sure. I'm looking now to see what library to use. I think it's probably best to keep it as similar to the normal Alt-F7 filesearch.

Another idea: support for wdx plugins.

There is open source implementation of wdx plugin interface - in wdx Super. It's written in Delphi, but maybe you could compile it to a dll (or have it compiled by another person).

Hi jaco,

I found this great tool 14 days ago and in this short time it became one of my favorites. Thank you.

I have only one little problem. I often work with a double screen with TC on the rigth panel. But TCqsp opens always on the left side. Is there any possibility to memorise the last position?

Kind regards

Ralf

Hi regex,

Thanks for the support.

Memorizing the last position sounds like an excellent idea :-)
I'll add it to my todo list.

Update

Post by *jaco »

Hello People,

I Updated the program to version 2.2

I added 2 new features:
- save window position
- regular expressions added (add * before your search string to use this feature). The library used is pcre by Philip Hazel , Perl 5 compatible regular expressions

Also I slightly changed the key's so it's easier to work with.
Enter now sends TCqsp to the background. A new key Ctrl-Enter exits with filtering.
Escape is still exit with no filtering, but now there is an option to not react to the Escape key when TCqsp is in the background.
F1 displays the help.
F2 displays a short regular expression help.

[edit] This help was taken from a pdf that was mentioned in the wiki (I think). There could be differences between the regular expressions here and the ones TC uses in is's search. Unfortionately I am not big on regular expressions, so you will have to find out yourself what they are!
[/edit]

I't still here: http://www.geocities.com/jacokwak/TCQSP.html[face=arial][/face][face=comicsansms][/face][face=courier][/face]

It looks like the web page still delivers version 2.1
This is shown under the properties and alos none of the keys F1 or F2 works.
So I assume is still the old version ?

The link on the webpage should read (version 2.2 , 2007/09/24)

I don't know why you've got the old version I'm afraid

The web page showed the new version, but using Firefox it downloaded the old. I had to clear the cache to get the new version.
Now its ok, thanks for the fast answer and your nice add-on.
