I've fixed crash caused by incorrect format string for %S parameter request dialog (only for embedded or shipped translation since 1.4.1.101). Some other translation issues were changed, and Russian translation was added.

Hi deus-ex
the download link shows a page which describes the download:
Downloaded 5 times
File: deus-ex - MultiArc German translation v2.0.rar
Size: 1.89 KB
Clicking the download, I don't get a RAR with 1.89 kB, but an EXE (Innosetup) with 953 kB - and 17 (of 55) virus alerts from Virustotal???

???

Hi Peter,

thank you very much for the notice. This is because the file sharing host has changed the default settings recently. Now a checkbox, right below the download button, is activated requesting to use their secure download manager instead.

I do not support this attitude, therefore I have established new downloads at a different file sharing host. Please look for the new links down below.

Indeed all of my previous three downloads have been corrupted each with a malicious software download.
Please avoid any of these download links found in my previous three posts!
I have established new downloads, find the links in my posts down below.
Now your download are protected by a malicious password....

deus-ex,
I assume one simply has to uncheck "Download with Secured Download manager"?
Should I edit any of your posts / remove links inside them?

Hacker

I wanted to secure the downloads from being altered again and mistook the provided password function as a possible countermeasure. There is no way to undo that, so I had to establish new download links once more.

Please feel free to edit my previous post #301193 - 301195 and #302929 - 302931 removing the links or delete them all together, whatever you see fit to remedy the confusion I have unfortunately caused.

Thank you very much in advance.

Suggestion:
Provide checksums (SHA1, MD5) and/or the filename and size, when posting downloads.

Of course there's still a chance that users don't check it, but at least it makes things verifiable.

But the links work fine as long as one unchecks "Download with Secured Download manager", right? So no need to edit / delete them?

Yeah, well, I had a hard time thinking about what you mean by "unchecking" as I thought there isn't anything to uncheck. Now I see that the little shield is reacting to clicks like a checkbox, but the checkmark is really hard to spot in there (on purpose, I guess). So, it's a crappy hoster that tries to spread its adware sh**, and simply because of that it should not be used.

Hacker

I fully second what Dalai said. (Thank you, Dalai.)

I didn't understand at first that you were referring to the downloads at Data File Host. They must have changed the default download settings only recently. I find it visually rather hard to spot that one has to disable their download manager by unticking the checkbox which is located below the download button. No doubt it was designed that way on purpose.

I'd recommend to remove the data file host links altogether.

Hi milo1012,

a good suggestion, corresponding information was just added to my posts with the download links.
