But even if I have chosen only one unit, the "Show unit" box is still disabled!
But not if you set the file size to > 0 right?
Danish translation
Thanks!

The opposite - it is only if I set the file size to 0 that I am allowed to toggle the "Show unit" setting.

Otherwise it looks like this: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/dirsizec.png

Actually setting it to 0 means > 0 ;-)
Just read the line as a whole:

Code: Select all

Use kB if file size > 0

Corrected and disagree

:) Again…

• I've édited my post above a while ago, right, I corrected the units strings, but the "All_dims" is not translated still,
I don't know where it comes from…
…Entering a S character will result in a space character in DirSizeCalc. …
Nope, you cannot enter a “S”, it results in an alarm beep only !
- However, typing a #160 character instead works.
- When you press "Space", a "S" is displayed, and has vanished when you reopen the options box the next time…
- I'll try to reinstall the plug-in, because till now, I've set 2 columns, and they remain desesperately empty
(with small sub-dirs) even waiting for one hour… :|
- I'll resend the corrected LNG at night…

It's a custom unit from an old version. Custom units means al attributes of the unit are defined by the user. This includes the unit name. So you could give a custom unit an English name and then translate the string in the language file. Or you could just name the unit in your working language and you are done.
Please also note that there are no custom fields or units defined by default in DirSizeCalc 2.
you cannot enter a “S”, it results in an alarm beep only
Can anyone conform this? This works fine here.
When you press "Space", a "S" is displayed
I already confirmed this behavior...

Nope, there is no beep, at least not if you are not trying to enter more than one separator char... ;)

Invisible is not marked !

Post by *Clo »

2icfu

:) Hi Jeff !

• Well, I guess that occurs when a space is already on the field, but since the fleeting "S" is gone, it's invisible,
and leads to think that not any character is set already…
- Again, I think that the "S" marking might remain

Here you can find the Spanish translation:
http://dl.free.fr/mf4ZYGg3g/wdx_dirsizecalc_2.00_rc1_spanish.7z

Regarding the S character, this is the behaviour here:
If I type S(or space) from within DirSizeCalcSettings.exe I can see the space separator in preview, so click [OK]→Restart Tc: the space separator is gone.
In setting file DirSizeCalc.ini a space character is saved on

Code: Select all

[UnitConfig_XXX]
ThousandSeparator=
The only way that I can see the space separator on tc is manually edit DirSizeCalc.ini and add a S character instead of a space character:

Code: Select all

[UnitConfig_XXX]
ThousandSeparator=S

Thanks for the translation.

I cannot reproduce this behavior here.

Same behaviour as for dott for the "ThousandSeparator" here (WinXp Pro French SP3) :

In setting file DirSizeCalc.ini a space character « » is saved on and no space are displayed !

The only way that I can see the space separator on tc is manually edit DirSizeCalc.ini and add a «S» character instead of a space character, then it works perfectly and a space is displayed !

Same behaviour as for dot
So I guess I have to reinvestigate as more than one user can reproduce the problem.

Thanks for the hint. I have to confirm this.

Is it possible to define custom units ex. DVD or CD, so the display will be like 2.3CD or 0.7DVD?
Can this be addes as feature?

Defining your own calculation values for K,M,G is not working correctly.
I've wanted to have values like in TC. I've decided to choose "Decimal" because of prefixes but I've specified i.e. 1024 for kB and this is not working properly.

Please, take a look on screenshot. In custom columns size is shown as on Preview.

Sounds like an interesting idea.

I'm using standard prefixes. I think this is quite obviously explained in the unit settings dialog (1000 bytes = 1 kilobyte).
If you want to use outdated prefixes feel free to edit the language file.
