Wow..That's quick. Thanks for the reply and update.

No more crashes by using 0.02 here. But display of Chinese characters seems to be dependent on system locale.

Environment: Win2K3 with East Asian Language support

If System Locale is Simplified Chinese
Filename in Chinese - OK
Display content in Chinese - OK

If System Locale is English (xxx)
Filename in Chinese - OK
Display content in Chinese - Unreadable. Lister is using ??? to display all Chinese characters, Word is fine. However, I don't know whether it's a TC problem or the plugin's.

Cheers

It's rather the problem of function I am using. It onvert's from UTF-8 to local ANSI. So if you've got English as system's one, all characters will be converted into it which means no Chinese characters.

I'll take a look on Unicode RichEdit control.

0.0.3 is out.

I've added handling of Unicode version of RichEdit control.

Tested with hiragana on Polish version of WinXP and it seems to be OK.

I have no problems with your file so please check if it's working correctly for you.

With version 0.0.2 the single quote (') is rendered correctly,
but with version 0.0.3 a little square is displayed :(

2 requests:
-formating
-optimized build(!!)

My only Office 2007 file also has squares instead of some characters. I don't know what they should be (not ' though), I don't have anything that opens Office 2k7 files. ;)

Can you send me problematic file? Here it works OK.

Edited: OK. It's font problem. I assumed that each Win has Arial Unicode MS but it does not and this is the source of problems.

I was right: I've chosen wrong font.

I will make a fix soon (either with Tahoma or customizable fonts).

:) Hello !

• Sorry, that doesn't work at all for all accented characters, despite that Paul and I are running
XP-Pro where there are Unicode fonts.
- Below, that I get here for some French accented characters :
{&@#§^~!ç²Ç ³ÆÀ=-*/<\> ?µ £ù‰¥´:`¦¨|¡¿¥©®€ÈÉ_}
- We might get characters like i.e. Ê - Ô - Ù - etc. instead…

For some reason the link http://cid-e12762cbdafb3c47.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/TC/Office2007wlx%7C_0.0.4.zip doesn't work currently.

What browser do you use? Can you access skydrive domain at all?

I have no problems neither under Opera nor Firefox but you can "go up" and browse TC folder from:
http://cid-e12762cbdafb3c47.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/TC

or even:
http://cid-e12762cbdafb3c47.skydrive.live.com/home.aspx

2petermad,

That link works fine in Opera 10.
chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

How do I un-overwrite all my data?
