I found a bug. Plugin open file handles in background and prevent them from deleting.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a valid XLSX file C:\1\1.xlsx
2. Create a valid XLSX file C:\1.xlsx
3. Try to overwrite C:\1\1.xlsx with C:\1.xlsx.
Expected result:
File is overwritten
Actual result:
Can not overwrite files even with elevated privileges. If open ProcExp and check opened file handles list - will see opened handles for both xlsx files.
Same behaviour in 32 and 64 bits.

You probably have the previews turned on on the overwrite dialog. I think it's a TC issue that the file is kept open in the plugin, because I've seen that with other plugins as well.

TC will open handes even without copy dialog. Will duplicate the issue to the TC forum: https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=51784

Aside from overwrite dialog and direct opening in Lister, I can only think of the thumbnails panel mode that would cause the pugin to open any file. Are you by any chance working in that mode?
Actually, I did find the issue in processing thumbnails, I forgot that preiviews were handled differently in Lister plugins. Please, try this test version, it should fix locking after thumbnail extracting:

I've tried test new version and the initial issue seems to be gone, thanks!
But I found x64 version don't work and always show blank screen no matter which excel file is beeing viewed.

Do you mean previews of normal F3? I'm using 64-bit version, and both functions are working OK (provided there actually IS a preview embedded in the file). Please, provide more details and step-by-step instruction on how you reproduce the problem.

Yes, I mean the main F3 viewer functionality.
If running 32 bit version everything works fine. If 64bit from the same TC directory - blank screen only shown. No error messages. TC 9.21a

Sorry, right now it works fine under 64 bit. Don't know what happen.
