Does Regexp work together with Google like? If yes, is it possible to have Regexp without it?
I'd like to see space as space while using ? (just like in MRT).

I have an idea
How about making the character separating phrases configurable?
Now it's space. I think that '/' would work really good, less intuitive but more expressive.

Edit: Yes we had a really nice holiday in Greece.
Yes Regexp works Google like. It was requested somewhere here in this thread. You could use "\s" as space.

Updated first post: Version 1.2 is available. (mainly supporting PinYin - Thanks to Christian and Shanny)
The PinYin support is experimental. Couldnt create a Chinese folder on my German WinXP. So please test PinYin and tell me if it works.
Code: Select all
Version 1.2
- Added (untested) support for PinYin - thanks to Christian Ghisler and Shanny (Because of slightly performance reasons it has to be activated in the ini: "use_pinyin=1"
- Added new ini parameter to be able to change the Separator from space to any other Separator. Example "separator_char=/"
- Added some more comments to source code.

I cross my fingers for your request
[OT]
Seriously this is annoying. I stopped using commandline in TC about 2 years ago but it always pops out unwanted because it is too easy to forgot that QuickSearch behaves differently from any other TextEdit control.

You can create a Chinese test folder by using copy+paste, taking some Chinese text from the forum. You will not see the Chinese characters unless you install support for East Asian languages in the control panel - but that's not necessary to test the quick search.
