Is it possible to add support to download shortcuts or access shared drives? They are just 0 sized entries that do nothing. You can access them via web-version and download but cant via plugin

I will have to check the documentation in detail to find out how to handle these links. They are missing a downloadUrl property (as you can see with Alt+Enter), so TC cannot download the content.

How does google is able to use them for downloading? Is it additional request using metadata these shortcuts provide? Can it be performed by the plugin as well?

A new beta version of my cloud plugin is available now!

Version 2.50 beta 1 supports the following new functions:
- New button in file/folder properties: Open the file/folder in the web browser (needs login)
- New button in file/folder properties: Share the file/folder for everyone who has the link, copy link to clipboard
- New menu item in the file/folder properties for URLs: Open the URL in web browser
- Show "Deleted files" folder on Google drive
- Support links on Google Drive: Download the file to which the link points, rename/delete just the link. On upload, change the target data

Finally got around to try this version. Thanks for the improvements!
I can confirm that file links now work fine. However, the folder links still don't. I cannot copy them, or open them. And they are displayed as files, too.

I didn't know that you can create links to folders too! I will try to support it. It should be possible to detect links to folders by the field
shortcutDetails:targetMimeType
with value
application/vnd.google-apps.folder

Sorry, no idea.

A new beta version of my cloud plugin is available now!

Version 2.50 beta 2 supports the following new functions in addition to beta 1:
- Support links to folders on Google Drive: Rename, delete, copy/move within the cloud service, go to target folder. Not supported: Download. It will be skipped in subdirs, and you get an error when you try to download it directly.
- Downlad of Google Docs documents stopped working, we only got a html page with a redirect link back.

First - Thanks for that plugin! it's awesome
I ran into a little problem, not sure if I'm the only one,
I backup around 80gb folder to "OneDrive Business"
when I lookup in the onedrive metrics page I see that this folder takes ~160gb

After digging a bit deeper I understood that there are 2 versions for each file (however I only uploaded once)
has anybody else noticed anything like that?

I tried disabling "versioning" on onedrive, apparently they removed the option to disable

tomerb,
It's stupid OneDrive. After TC uploads the file it changes its timestamp to the correct one and OneDrive sees this timestamp change as a whole new version of a file. Not sure how I solved it, you'll need to Google I guess.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

That's odd, changing the timestamp only changes the metadata. If you find a solution, please let me know.

tomerb,
Look under "Versions" here, perhaps there is something useful:
