You need a special PDF file with attachments, try this sample:

Ordinary PDF files is not handled by this plugin.

Install this in the usual way, after installation you can open archive using Ctrl-PageDown.

I have no plans to develop new Observer modules.
Try to contact the author of the original Far Manager plugin:

Hey Egor,

thank you so much for this absolute wonderful & professional plugin.
- works like a charm,
- my favorite: adds support for all the "new" ISO Formats
- ...

After a few tests I was able to delete 4 older plugins that wheren´t supported fo a long time, guess others will follow!

Keep on with the force don't stop ;-)

Cheers, Karl

Egor. Thanks for your plugin TotalObserver 1.0.0
Sorry, but forum declines posting URLs, so I'll try to describe problem only with words.
Your plugin could be used not only in Total Commander, but also in other file managers, like FreeCommander XE and Double Commander.

I faced with problem with your plugin in FreeCommander XE on Windows XP SP3 wih all latest patches installed.
Because your plugin shows content of many formats better, then other plugins, I placed it first in the list. But no matter what is the order of your plugin in FC XE. If it is switched on, error occurs. If switched off - no error.

When I try to Search files/folders (Alt-F7) with following conditions:
File name: *.sql
Search in folders: C:\Windows
with 'Search in archives' swithced to ON
No matter that you have no *.sql files in a folder. Tried to search not only in C:\Windows folder, but also in Program Files. Even search could be done in any folder, that contain rather big number of archives.

After some time I error - empty windows with red cross in it
and after it
Application popup: FreeCommander.exe - Application error : Exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) in application at adress 0x78b2d6fd.
"ОК" -- close application
"Cancel" -- debug application

By the way, if in active panel (where we make search) C:\Windows is opened, and in inactive panel local Disk C:\ is opened we have to wait more time, then if in both panels the same folder is opened - in such a case problem occurs much faster.

After I turn off your plugin (I use many plugins in FC XE - fcRar (internal FC XE unrar plugin), Total7ZIp, fcZip (internal FC XE zip plugin)) I see no more error. Search works fine.

It is very strange, that there is no such a problem in Total Commander with your plugin.

So, the problem may be in both your plugin and FC XE, may be some problem with memory.

I made no tests in DoubleCommander, because in that file manager search in archives is not implemented. I only can open content of archives with Ctrl-PageDown.

If you need, I'll try to make more detailed description (may be with screenshots for better understanding). By the way, I'm Russian speaking user.

Could that problem be fixed in the next release?

Also posted problem to FC XE developer.

FC XE developer inspected the problem.
The problem is in the MSVCR100.dll module from Observer.
Check Google for "MSVCR100.dll 0x40000015" and you can see many problems.
I even tried to update MSVCR100.dll myself from version 10.0.40219.1 to 10.0.40219.325, but nothing changed. I still see error while searching.
I also tried to contact the author of the original Far Manager plugin, but couldn't...
So, the problem is in plugin dll-s.

Try to remove msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll from plugin folder and install this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=5555
