Note, .ini file must be in the same folder as TC_plugman.exe (and not r/o). Maybe you placed it not there?..

(and mail me folder name, e.g. C:\your_folder\tc\tc_plugman\ )
I tested PlugMan under WinXP SP2, it worked.

On my computer it also always searches the .ini file.
I work on WinXP Pro SP2

TC_plugman.ini exists in the same folder where TC_plugman.exe is. There is an entry in the TC_plugman.ini:
[Paths]
TCPath=D:\totalcmd\TOTALCMD.EXE
IniPath=.\wincmd.ini

Hmm.. It searches for TC_plugman.ini or for Wincmd.ini? :?
If for wincmd.ini, try not ".\wincmd.ini", but "c:\path\wincmd.ini".
If for tc_plugman.ini - I don't know.. For me it works.
I tested under Win98/NT4/WinXP.

For wincmd.ini of course.
".\wincmd.ini" -was by default and.. I've not changed it manually.
- I will check it on Monday on my second computer, where I've checked it before.

It would be nice but AFAIR Christian is planning to add a new way of plugin installation so... I'm not sure if it's worth of your work, now.

Don't need, but---

:) Hello Alexeï !
…I think need I make installing of new plugins from .zip/.rar archive …
- Personally, I don't need this. That should add fat to the program, and it's easy to unpack archives with TC.
- But - like I told you in another thread - it should be nice to get translation-strings for the packers Configuration dialogs…

 Kind regards,
Claude

Yes, added it to ver.1.4.
For POP3plugin.dll it works.

2Clo:
it will not add fat, just add command "Install from archive":
you select archive and program unpacks it to Plugins folder...
I told you in another thread - it should be nice to get
translation-strings for the packers Configuration dialogs…
what strings? Pls mail me what strings I forgot...

All strings miss

Post by *Clo »

2alextp
:) Hi again !
- All strings are missing for the Packers Plugins Configuration dialog-boxes.
- I've two installed, the dialog-boxes remain in English totally. :(
- Example : the the BZ2 one…
- They are not in the English language file. Not any word for this.

Clo, I cannot translate plugins configurations dialogs,
they are displayed by plugins, not by me (I just call plugin's FsExecute function). E.g. you should select non-English file for BZ2 plugin, then call it's dialog.

Annoying---

Post by *Clo »

2alextp
- Okay, but I don't think that these plugins have other languages anywhere… Maybe it could be fixed for Bz2, since it's a Ch. Ghisler's product.
- But for Ppmd.wcx (by Dmitry Shkarin), there is a lot of lines on the box; it's fine, but many French-speaking users (and others!) can't understand :(
- I thought to write to the two Authors about this. I could create a small language-file dedicated to this kind of packers dialogs... In anyway, it's annoying actually.

I adapted the german translation of deus-ex

[edit]Sorry, but there are some problems with the new version it seems. So my german language file is incomplete and may not work properly. That for did deus-ex not publish the newest language file till now.

I removed the translation and request you to wait for the official translation of deus-ex
