Is there a 64-bit lister.exe?

Post by *sheayone »

Hi, Ghisler, could you kindly give us the 64-bit version standalone lister.exe?

After all, 32-bit app does not work well in 64-bit TC.

Thanks.

In 32-bit TC, I used the standalone lister app to open some kinds of files directly by setting the internal association or defining em, e.g, open a specified html file by ieview through the lister.exe. I know, i can use the parameter /S=L to open it by tc itself instead of lister, but it opened very slowly.

Since there is not 64-bit lister yet, I can not do this kind of operations, that is why I requested.

A "normal" TC user always has TC running, so there is no need or benefit
to use external lister. The viewer plugins are loading fast
without any additional delay.

Only advantage of external Lister over the internal one is that the former does not close files when TC restarts. So I use it widely. But I can hardly find another advantage

Unfortunately the current 64-bit code doesn't compile as 64-bit standalone lister. It's mixed too much with the rest of TC.
