StatusQuo,

What is the difference between this one and Petermad's version? I installed Petermad's version until I was directed to this one and installed this one over it. Excellent plugin! It cleaned up my download directory nicely. It would nbe nice to see a setting for images (for example) that you could set the extensions for what you want to move to an images directory.

Hi all,
What is the difference between this one and Petermad's version?
It should only be the interface dialog string (and the layout) that could change.

I'm not dead (yet) but I haven't made any changes to this plugin (except from doing a -possible- new interface that peter knows of -yes the last year mock up I sent you-)

The paragliding season is -on- and it's more insteresting than spending hours behind my computer so ...

Stay tune

At the moment, the offcial version (mine) is on totalcmd.net , search for mover 0.1.

You can also find some derived from it (I guess) from petermad (English Mover wcx plugin 1.0a and the danish one)

The only difference between the official version and the version I have made is in the User interface - see these postings: http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=145714#145714 and http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=145745#145745

The basic functionalty as such is the same in both versions, and in StatusQuo's versions too.

That's right, only the language was translated.

I found a possible bug in this plugin. If I try to move a file that is already in the directory I am moving it to, it doesn't ask to copy over it. It just ignores that file. Can this be fixed?

This was by -design- :
the -destination folder structure- should not exist before...

How would you like it to be fixed?

1-Ask for each existing file
2-Ask once for all

This plugin has no ini file, so this setting will be -set- each time...

I use this plugin constantly to keep my download directory cleaned. The -destination folder structure- is the same there now as it has been for a while, except with added directories for new file types that gets made with the plugin.

Maybe you could have a checkbox for both options you mentioned. An INI file would be ideal, to be honest.
