Hi. I'm a long-time user, and was so even at the time of the great Windows->Total rename.

Even so, I don't use any plugins. I guess that the un-enhanced TC meets my needs for a file explorer. Plus, I'm a Unix-trained command line pilot, so I usually do my fancy filework with utilities such as diff, wc, awk, etc. But those commands are kind of awkward to manage in TC, so I frequently switch over to Midnight Commander.

If there's a TC extension that provides more oomph to the Command Line, I'd love to know about it.

I did try the WebDav plugin once, but I don't think it worked. At least it didn't seem to add any features to the WinXP Web Places, or whatever it's called.

The best plugin for my use is the diskdir.

I hope it supports japanese (asian) characters in future.
