[Configuration]
...
DriveBarHide=AB \=
This will hide drive A: , B: and Network from drive buttons.

So you wish to nave NO possibility to access some drive? Even from command line? (Please explain why).
If they are CDs or whole HDs, they can be hidden from the BIOS. There is no way to hide drives from the system commands. By the way, "cd" command usually follows the "drive" command like "c:".

Exactly what I said. See above.RemusRigo wrote:I just want to hide a partition, let's say partition X:, but i want to be able to access it by cd x:
If i use allowed=, then I can't acces partition x: using cd x:
What you mean 'hide a partition' ? What purpose? (search except that drive, avoid read, and so on...)
You can use 'Ignore list' for most of your purpose.
Feel free to ask me in Romanian if it's not enough clear (not in this forum) using my contact.

You can hide it from the drive bar via DriveBarHide= option, see help, in the section about wincmd.ini. It will still be in the drive dropdown list, though.
