And what about Lesmo16's suggestion about buttons reorganizing
This would be possible, but would probably cause more confusion that it would help.
and about mine with icons?
Icons sound like a good idea! We would only have to find the right ones.

With icons, I think, the negative effect would be as little as possible, but such reorganizing would help new users.

Certainly, it was just an illustrative example. Maybe, StickyNomad can design some icons that will suit new TC style better.

I hope the 3 kinds of Overwrite, Skip and Cancel will remain for direct access!

BTW: What's the functional difference between "Skip all" and "Cancel"? :?

Cancel stops the transferring at all; Skip all just allows to skip all the files that exist on the other side, AFAIK. ;)

That's more logical than the current dialog layout!

Kind regards,

Support - IF the tab order is going to be:

Overwrite -> Overwrite All -> Overwrite All Older -> Skip -> Skip All -> Cancel -> Rename -> Append -> More Options

That's also good - both solutions are better than the actual button order.

I like Lesmo16's idea.
I've been using TC for many years but I still have to spend a while before finding the right button.

Of course it's possible it can be confusing for some users but as it changes in TC 7 I think it's a good moment for reorganisation.

Support from my side too for Lesmo16's suggestion in combination with petermad's suggested tab order.
