ignore list problem (tc7b3)

Post by *horizon »

Hello there!
I am using Subversion and it's useless for me to see it's working directories. So I have put one entry (.SVN) into TCMD's Ignore list.
What I like is that TCMD does not show/copy/searches these, but what I consider as a problem is that it also does NOT delete them.
So when I want delete the folder containing subfolders with this (.SVN) extension, I am getting "Access denied" and similar errors.
Can you change behavior of deleting to NOT use ignore list?

This is not a bug, it works as specified: You put it on the ignore list and it is ignored.

But it has been already suggested before: http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=12324

Next time you may use the forum search before posting !

Well I found workaround... in
cfg -- options -- copy/delete -- [X]use explorer delete method
But I am affraid that using explorer delete method has some side effects like automatic canceling of the whole operation on-first-access-denied, doesn't it?

This should be fixed in RC1. Ignored dirs/files are now treated like hidden dirs/files. Please test!

Ignored files are now handled just like hidden/system files.
