cm_ShowOnlySelected reset after focus change: feature or bug

Post by *now »

After doing a cm_ShowOnlySelected and then leaving and going back to total commander resets the "filter", showing the whole directory contents. This is perhaps a result of Total Commander re-reading the panels when it gains focus, but I was hoping that it would retain its "filtering" between focus changes.

Indeed the panels are reread by default.

Either exclude all needed drives by adjusting the "NoReread" key in wincmd.ini or issue cm_RestoreSelection after the reread.

Either exclude all needed drives from refreshing by adjusting the "NoReread" key in wincmd.ini
which is also available on the new refresh page in the configuration dialog.

In my case it is only refreshed if a file has been changed in the folder, otherwise the filtering remains even after a focus change.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!
