Recomended Icon Library Manager
Hello:
Using XP Pro SP2
Just like some recomendations on freeware Icon Managers. I won't be creating icons from scratch, mainly what I like to do. Is to just merge icl files and add ico files to icl files. Mainly just creating personal icon libraries with already extisting icons. Off course like to extract icons from exe and dll files too, to include in libraries.
I did some internet searches, and found mostly editors, importing then exporting as graphics. Plus all were $... I won't be using this that often and was hoping some can suggest a few.
Thanks,
Anthony

Hello Christian!
• IconSushi created 16-bit ICLs only…
• Can it create 32-bit ones now ? I'd requested this a while ago to the author, I never got any answer…

Iconshop?
Maybe IconShop, it's old and I don't know if it can create 32-bit ICL's.

ICLs are just renamed DLLs which contain icons as resources. There are 16- and 32-bit DLLs. Vista seems to support only 32-bit DLLs (and ICLs), at least the 64-bit version of Vista.
