In-line rename enhancement

Post by *corny »

Is it possible to support the use of Ctrl-Left when inline-renaming a file? This is supported in the Shift-F5 copy dialog.

I have a file called "ap_gpltc_geenlampuitschakelen.c" and want to rename it to "ap_gpltc.c". With Shift-F5, the underscores and dots are used as stops for the Ctrl-cursor behaviour. With Shift-F6, there are no stops in the filename, so when using Ctrl-Left or Ctrl-Right, the cursor only changes between the first and last character of the filename+extension.
Regards,
Cornelis

I think this has been requested in the past. It would be a welcomed enhancement (by me at least).
