Hello,
I have a question about the usage of the FTP function in TC. I work together with someone else on a local FTP-server where we constantly upload and change files. It is important for us that we see the changes the other person did in the directories we're working in.
I know that TC creates a cache for all the dirs you've watched in the same session and that you can refresh that cache by using Ctrl+R. However, we don't always think of this, so we sometimes end up losing some work we've done due to overwriting files.
Is there a way we can disable this cache so that every time we switch dirs we would have a real-time view of the contents of that dir? We would gladly take the loss of performance for granted.
Thank you in advance.

No, unfortunately there is no way to disable the cache yet. It's planned for one of the next versions, though. I guess that it's not sufficient to disable it for all connections, right?

Thanks for the reply.
It would be sufficient for us to disable it for all connections. We usually do not use more than 2 or 3 connections at a time.
If we would like to use the cache again, we wouldn't mind having to turn it on again for all connections.

Well, currently you could just delete the ftp*.tmp files from the TEMP directory to clear the cache. But an option would of course be better.

There's already an option, isn't there? Ctrl+F > Edit > Advanced tab > Remember contents of all visited directories (in cache). Or did I miss something?
