[bug?] TC cleaning clipboard when closing

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

:) Hi Frank !

• Did you purchase your PC (and your TC) in “Lourdes” ?

- According to the statements of the Author himself, it's totally impossible currently with regard to the context
and the used functions calls for a copied OLE object (not only the contents of a file)…

Ok, if it's impossible to fix the problem in current implementation of working with clipboard, a) can Ghisler try to find workaround/another way to copy files?; b) if not, option on enable message like "You can lose important data if close TC, are you sure?" when closing TC; c) simply some strings in Help about this?
P.S. I'm writing from mobile now, so sorry for poor text.

enable message like "You can lose important data if close TC
You can't really loose any data, you can only loose the list of files you wanted to copy/move.

Hmm, maybe CLCL is still playing a role.

I hate the life :)
Chirstian moved topic to "Behaviour which will not be changed" and... answered in beta-forum (thanks to petermad for quote from there). That's all. I think topic should be closed now.
I love the life too... sometimes :)

I tried to locate the part in my AHK script that is responsible to make the clipboard contents persistent. After some testing, I realized, that the very presence of CLCL is enough to do this task. So...

So I can kill CLCL process and it still will work?
How much of RAM needs CLCL?
I never used any clipboard managers (maybe except MS Office 2003/07 "manager", which uses a lot of RAM)...

No, it has to run in the background. EDIT: oops, sorry, the correct answer is yes, I just tested it.
