List the file as a directory just as mc under linux does

Is this format different to the standard UNIX .gz format ?

The standard gz is done by TCs internal packer itself (since 5.0)

He wants to display the file inside the .gz file similar to the diskdir or catalog plugins. Maybe someone can modify one of them for this purpose.
