FTP with many small files seems to freeze

Hi.

Sorry but i dont have the background information that i could have since this has occured lot's of times for me.

But, I have uploaded quite a few web sites with TC and always seem to get the problem that it freezes at some point.
So disconnecting (some times needs to restart TC) and reconecting, and start where it freezed is the solution.

This last time (Today), it freezes at around 300 files and i need to restart TC to get it working again.

Anybody else see this when uploading many files?

Have seen it on many different ftp hosts.

Currently running Vista Ultimate, but it also happend on 2000 Pro

As you will probably find by searching thru the forum, TC's FTP function is not usable currently (unless you get lucky enough to find a server that wears the "designed for Ghisler" hologram).

Oh come on, not everyone has such crappy ftp servers which drop the connection all the time. TC FTP works very well with servers which work as they should, and firewalls which properly support ftp and don't block ports by number...
