TCToolbar's "Out of TC" (vs TCMenu)

First of all, many thanks for your 2 progs. I'm really enjoying them :D

Just a comment/question:

If a assign a hotkey to TCMenu, the vertical bar gets displayed in whatever app. I'm working at the moment (extremely useful feature). No need for TC even to be running.

Instead, if a hotkey is assigned to TCToolbar, I can only get the horizontal bar while being inside TC. Otherwise, a message pops up saying "Out of TC!".

Is this by design? Would it be very complicated to allow TCToolbar to behave like TCMenu? It would amount to having a Quick Launch bar anywhere, anytime, with just icons. Hmmmm, nice

Anyway, they're 2 great apps. Thanks again.

Yes, this behavior by design. :)
TCmenu and TCtoolbar was designed for launching from TC.
But while menu width is depend on Windows, toolbar width is my responsibility. TC window define position and size for toolbar, so if i cannot find TC window i cannot show toolbar with correct width.

Well, in the next version i'll use in such case screen width.

PS
Quick Launch bar anywhere, anytime, with just icons
Why just icons? You can assign on TCtoolbar's button TCmenu! :D

Up to you , of course. I'd vote for that, anyway. But in the meantime, TCMenu does its independent job perfectly.
Why just icons? You can assign on TCtoolbar's button TCmenu!
I know. It's just my preference. For some groupings I know very well what the icons stand for, so I don't need any text to go with them. Also, my hand seems to be move faster horizontally that vertically.

Take care.
