Yes as there is no md.exe therefore message Command not found is correct
What you want is "Command line: cmd md ""
or on 9xOS "Command line: command md ""
NOT CONFIRMED - I GET 2 Times Folder exists please specify another name.
I also had this behavior on 7.0. Now, on 7.01, I haven't any messages.
What version do you use?
About md.
What is
command md ""
You cannot execute command in command.com or cmd.exe without using /c or /k switch.
In my post I mean to type md " in command line of Total Commander.
Please try:
md "
md ""
md """
Only in third case you'll have correct error message.
This has indeed been changed: | is used to create multiple directories in the same base directory. Example
a|b|c
creates the three directories "a", "b" and "c". So "|" alone means to create two directories with no name. TC now ignores the request to create a directory without a name.
||a
will therefore create just directory "a".
Please create a new topic in the TC 7 Suggestions forum. It is hard to tell which part of this thread is a new Suggestion and which is part is the Will not be changed. You can of course link to this thread, if you like.
