Anyone using HgTortoise (mercurial)?
It works (shows up when right clicking) but I don't get the nice informative icons that show if a file is sync'ed or not...

Any workaround to this? My guess is that it'd be the same for any tortoise.

Maybe using the default folder/file icons? I'm using some prettier ones that came with TC...

Try to enable overlay icons: Configuration -Options - Icons - Overlays.

Hi,

I'm using TC 7.56a 32 bit. I am also using Tortoise HG v 2.0.5. I can't get the mercurial status to show up on files, even after trying the recommendation above.

Are there any other solutions? Thanks much!

Check the Tortoise settings, there is an option to show overlay icons in Explorer only. You need to uncheck that.
