As far as I understood, it allowed to select the file, then select the target bluetooth device, and when confirming send it actualy established BT connection to the target device but then hang instead of sending data.

BT connection remained established but no data flow, and programm hanged on the PDA side.

Ah, that's interesting - it's about as far as it got on the Windows Mobile 5 device then, but simply didn't show any error message. Could you please try it again, and check whether it shows anything in the log window (the last message before it hangs)? Thanks!

I asked about the message in the message window, but message window becomes completely white / splashed, so no message visible there.

My father tried 3 times and he was simply unable to notice what message was last one ... I am sorry.

Would you be willing to test it with a version which writes the logs to a file? This could also be read after a crash...

Sure I will test such version on WM6, and I will ask my father to test it on WM2003SE and provide the logfile - that I think shall be no problem.

This newly build module for WM2003 works GREAT on WM6.
It is much faster than the previous module displaying the messages.

Transfer of 4.5 MB file ... OK, includng the progress bar indicator
Transfer of 24MB file ... OK, progress indicator disapeared after +/-16 MB but file transferred OK
(binary compared with source - files identical)

Tests on WM2003SE I will manage to be performed today or tomorrow.

EDIT : Tests on WM2003SE - successfull.

File about 7.5 MB transferred in +/- 2 minutes.

The only problem seems to be handling of "obscure" filenames.

Attempt to transfer file with this name was not successfull :

"Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - 06 - Sinfonia Concertante Für Oboe, Klarinetteund Orchester Es-Dur, KV .mp3"

After renamne same file went through OK.
Please see the mail for error message printout.

Hi
Great to se that some work is going on to implement bluetooth support for broadcom PDAs

TC is a great tool - but should be much more useful with bluetooth file transfer support.

I use a HP IPAQ 214 and hope you succeed to implement it zoon!

Currently the development is on hold because of the long file name problem. :(

Good news! I have built the send function into Total Commander Pocket now, and it didn't complain when sending the long file name! I placed a file with the above name in
\Program Files\Total Commander
and then sent it internally.

Maybe the file name _with full path_ was longer than 259 characters in your case? Where was the file located?

I don't remember where the file was - tests were done by my Father.
Anyway, I will check with new TC pocket as soon as available
